A native of Troy, Alabama, Clint holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History from Troy University, a Master of Divinity in Biblical Languages from Southwestern Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching, also from Southwestern. He loves to read and his taste in music runs from Handel’s Watermusik to Willie Nelson to Broadway musicals like Les Misérables and Phantom of the Opera and worship musicians Shane and Shane and Chris Tomlin. Clint and his wife Kristen are the proud parents of Madelyn, Murphy, and Makinley.
Ryan came on staff in August 2019, but he is not new to Fellowship; he grew up here! As a teen he was involved in the youth group and led the youth praise band for three years. He holds two degrees from The Baptist College of Florida: Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Worship Ministry, and Master of Arts in Music and Worship Leadership. He feels that music is an incredible way to communicate with God, and that’s why he is so passionate about leading others in musical worship, because God is so worthy of our worship! He loves spending time with his family, reading, and watching all kinds of sports. Ryan and his wife Kayla are the proud parents of their sons Logan and Jonah.
Jayce joined Fellowship’s staff in February 2017. A native of Perry, Florida, he is a graduate of the Baptist College of Florida with a BA in Ministry, and has completed half of a Masters of Divinity program concentrating in Expository Preaching at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jayce says, “Students have an electric passion for life that, if channeled for the gospel, can change the world. Students aren’t the future of the church; they are the Church.” He hopes that students will take ownership of their faith by being an example as Paul exhorted Timothy: “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” He loves coaching youth sports, working out, and running. Jayce and his wife Candice are proud to be the parents of Harrison, Chandler, Hallie, and Mila.
Katie is homegrown—she grew up at Fellowship Baptist and was baptized here. A graduate of Florida State, she worked for seven years at Wee Care in various positions before becoming the director. Katie loves working with children. She says, “When I was a youth, I wanted to be in missions. But God said I didn’t need to leave Tallahassee; I needed to stay here and do His work at Wee Care.” Katie and her husband Melvin are the very proud parents of their two children, Malakai and Ava.
Martha answers all questions and solves all mysteries–at least in the realm of the church office. She and her family have lived in Tallahassee for a long time coming from the Amish country of Pennsylvania. Martha has a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing-Literature from Eastern University outside of Philadelphia (she met her husband, Jim, there too!). Her degree and her varied work experiences are put to good use everyday. She has been in leadership in drama ministry at two churches as well as written and directed throughout the area for over twenty years. Currently she serves as the theater director at a local school. Martha is now widowed, and daily draws strength and joy from the caring heart of her faithful Father God. She is the proud mom of John, daughter-in-law Emily, and grandsons Antonio and Isaiah; and Matthew, and is a member of Four Oaks Community Church.
Brenda is the friendly voice and face you will encounter when you call or stop by the office. A native of Lakeland, she and her family have lived in Texas and North Carolina as well as Florida. Her husband, Ward, is a bi-vocational pastor and they have three children, Lauriel, Ariana (and her husband Josh), and Corin. Brenda is a wealth of information and if she doesn’t know, she will find out. Her great gift of caring is evident as she deals with people in crises every day. She is often the first face of ministry at Fellowship. She is a member of Riverside Baptist Church in nearby Havana–where she especially appreciates the pastor!
Neil came to Fellowship with a wealth of experience in the field of banking and in many areas of church work including administration, education, and senior adult ministry. He and his wife Cindy, a retired middle school teacher, are the proud parents of four children and ten grandchildren. They are very active members of Morningside Baptist Church in Tallahassee.
Norma Jean hails originally from the Macclenny area and worked in state government eventually retiring after many years with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. An active member of Fellowship and of the Sanctuary Choir, she offers wonderful assistance to the music ministry.
Thor is the go-to person with all kinds of things at Fellowship. He has a wonderful ability to fix almost anything–and we put his knowledge to good use. His frugality is legend in the office! For many years, he and his late wife desired to have a home for children. When that did not happen, they added to their two sons by adopting four more. He has now added 5 grandchildren. Thor is an active member of Church of the Open Bible.
