Fellowship is a Christ-centered, biblically-oriented church made up of loving and friendly people who desire to worship and serve Jesus. At Fellowship, everyone is special. And there is a special place for all children. The Children’s Ministry mission statement is: Knowing God through sharing, friendship, teaching, helping others, and worship. We prayerfully strive to provide opportunities for children to learn about Jesus Christ, themselves, and others. Our teachers and workers care about the children and work hard to teach Christian values while the kids are having fun.
Each week there’s a place for you in….
Sunday School classes are offered on Sunday mornings starting at 9:30am. Classes are divided according to age. Babies and preschoolers’ classes are on the first floor in the Wee Care Building and the grade-school children are upstairs. Child care is available for children from birth through Pre-K during the services. Children in kindergarten through third grade meet for Children’s Church at 10:45am in room 208 in the Wee Care Building. Children’s Church is a place for children to have their own worship while learning to worship.
There are two missions groups—Royal Ambassadors (RAs) for boys, and Girls in Action (GAs) for girls — which meet during the Evening Worship Service on Sundays. Through Bible study, games, sports, and mentoring relationships, they learn about, pray for, give, do missions work, and their own spiritual growth is encouraged. They are great places to make new friends, too! There groups are for children in grades 1-5.
Join Us for JAM Wednesdays!
What is JAM? During the school year, on Wednesdays we have JAM–Jesus And Me! This is a fun-filled time of learning about Jesus. We have games, crafts and lots of activities that center around the Bible story each week. JAM is for children ages 4 through fifth grade.
JAM begins with dinner for the children at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall and then the children go to their classes in the Wee Care building until 7:00pm. Child care is available for children birth through 3 years of age for parents who attend an adult Wednesday night activity or the Sanctuary Choir rehearsal.
