Fellowship Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL is seeking to immediately hire a part-time (25 hours per week) bookkeeper. This position is generally responsible for the financial planning, budget administration, accounting and record keeping, financial reporting for the church and the church’s Wee Care Child Care Center. We are seeking to hire someone with excellent people skills as well as strong organizational and time management skills. At least two years’ experience preferably in non-profit accounting, knowledge of Excel, Word, and accounting software is a plus.

This position reports to the Senior Pastor. The individual in this position will work closely with other staff members, the church’s Stewardship Committee, the Church Treasurer, and various Committee Chairs. The position will be expected to attend all regular Stewardship Committee meetings and budget planning meetings usually held in the evenings.
